HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

In the app (fastest):

1. Open Betttr and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

By email:
If you can no longer sign in, email support@betttr.net from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm once it is done.

WHAT GETS DELETED

Deleting your account is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period and no way to restore it. We erase:

• your account and sign-in identity
• your profile, username, display name and avatar
• your gambling-free streak history, milestones and achievements
• your journal entries, gratitude entries, urge logs and mood logs
• your daily pledges, goals, and your reasons for quitting
• your community posts and comments
• your direct messages, friends and blocked-user list
• your push-notification device registrations
• your customer record with our subscription provider

Videos you recorded with "Record a message for yourself" are stored only on your own phone and are never uploaded to us. Deleting the app removes them.

WHAT WE KEEP, AND FOR HOW LONG

• Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that are not linked to you personally.
• Records our analytics provider holds are not removed automatically. Email support@betttr.net and we will delete those too.
• Purchase and billing records are held by Apple and Google, not by us, under their own retention rules.

IMPORTANT: DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT DOES NOT CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

If you have an active Betttr subscription, you must cancel it separately in the store that bills you, or it will keep charging you:

• Google Play: Play Store app > your profile icon > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > Betttr > Cancel subscription
• Apple: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Betttr > Cancel Subscription
